OBJECTIVE
Research projects at Johns Hopkins that involve animals are conducted with a clear and concise scientific purpose. It is expected that the results of these research projects will increase knowledge, expand the understanding of the species involved in the project and in doing so provide results that will benefit the health and welfare of humans as well as other animals. The caliber of each project holds more than ample prospective magnitude in order to justify the use of animals in research.
